These qualifications have been designed to provide learners with the knowledge, understanding and practical skills to enable them to work in the health and care sectors, as well as supporting those with complex needs.

About this subject area

Our Adult Health and Social Care qualifications can prepare learners for roles supporting vulnerable adults or those with additional needs.

Our Health and Well-Being qualifications recognise that all aspects of people’s physical and mental health contribute to their overall well-being, enabling learners to understand how to maintain maximum health for themselves and those they care for.

Our Protective Behaviours Training offer activities to promote the right of everyone to feel safe all the time. The aim of these qualifications is to introduce participants to the process of Protective Behaviours and to show how Protective Behaviours can be used to enhance working practice and life beyond the workplace. they will enhance a learner’s ability to look after themselves and others.

Our Work with Children and Families qualifications focus on supporting families with complex needs and working in a multi-agency environment.

Qualification Approval

In order to deliver this qualification, centres must meet the requirements to deliver the qualification (which can be found in the Qualification Specification) and complete the Qualification Approval Application Form (QAF).
