About this subject area

The IT User Skills qualifications at Level 1 and Level 2 enable learners to develop IT skills appropriate for use in education, training, employment and in their personal lives. The qualifications enable learning providers to offer flexible approaches to delivery and assessment and to use teaching resources and equipment effectively.

The Entry Level Award in Information Technology (Entry 3) meets the needs of learners who wish to develop their skills, and increase their understanding of information technology. It will support learners to gain confidence in using a computer and other electronic devices, enable individuals to use digital technology as part of a job role, and will support the safe use of the internet and digital applications.

The Telecommunications qualifications provide the underpinning knowledge and skills for those working with wireless and cellular networks.
