gain an understanding of the vocational area of health;
prepare for further vocational learning in health;
learn more about employment opportunities in the health sector.

“This is the second year that my team have delivered the qualification and as they know the rigour of Access they stretch and challenge the learners to achieve. Historically students that have undertaken a pre access with a different awarding body have found the leap between the two very difficult however we feel this qualification gives a real grounding and foundations to build upon.”

Lesley Troth, Dudley College.

The minimum age for access to these qualifications is 16 years.
