Blended Online Learning Development

  • Open College Network West Midlands Level 3 Award in Blended and Online Learning Delivery - 601/8090/0

This qualification will enable learners to increase their knowledge of the application of learning theories and strategies to blended learning delivery. They will gain understanding of ways to design, deliver and facilitate blended and online learning. The qualification will offer individuals an opportunity to learn skills in using online delivery tools and strategies and to motivate and include learners in their own learning.

To be awarded the Open College Network West Midlands Level 3 Award in Blended Online Delivery learners must achieve all 6 credits from the Mandatory Group.

The minimum age for access to this qualification is 18 years.
and
Learners should have experience of planning and delivering learning in a school or in a post-compulsory education role such as FE, HE or work-based learning.
and
Learners should have sound basic IT skills including file management, operation of word processing and presentation software and the ability to use a web browser for searches.
and
Learners should either have some prior experience with the basic operation of the VLE being used in delivery of this course or should have access to support regarding its operation from someone in their organisation
