We are pleased to announce that the above qualifications in the Assessor Qualifications Suite are now available for registrations. This is a flexible qualification suite which enables learners to effectively progress through the Level 3 Award to the Level 3 Certificate and become proficient work place assessors. These qualification are based on specifications for Assessment developed by LLUK after extensive consultations on the proposed qualifications structures, evidence requirements, Assessment strategy and workshops with relevant awarding bodies, Sector Skills Councils and learning and development experts.

Note: The following qualification will close for registrations on 31/08/2019.  Learners will still have until 31/08/2020 to certificate.  A replacement qualification with revised units is already available for new registrations.  Details of this qualification can be found above.

  • Open College Network West Midlands Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment - 601/2121/X
The Open College Network West Midlands Assessor qualification is based on the specifications for Assessment and originally developed by LLUK after extensive consultations on the proposed qualifications structures, evidence requirements, assessment strategy and workshops with relevant awarding organisations, Sector Skills Councils and learning and development experts.
 
In order to deliver this qualification centres must meet the specified requirements which can be found below in the document Appendix A. Centres must then complete the 'Approval to deliver a qualification form' and email it to l.male@opencollnet.org.uk.
 
The minimum age for access to this qualification is 19 years.
