Two schemes available for any organisation / employer.

Our QEL and QEL+ is available for both national and international provision to organisations based in the UK or internationally.

We offer two Quality Endorsement Licence scheme options available to any organisation / employer - please see below.

Quality Endorsement Licence Plus (QEL+)

The QEL+ is aimed at organisations that offer specific and/or specialised accreditation/audit services to a particular industry, sector or specialism, where a regulated qualification is not required. As a national Awarding Organisation, our QEL+ provides a highly flexible framework and approach for your business to design and deliver your own audit and accreditation services to your customers.

    What is it? 

    The Open College Network West Midlands Quality Endorsement Licence Plus (QEL+) is our highly valued ‘quality mark’ of trust that provides external endorsement to organisations that offer their own audit/accreditation services within a particular area of specialism or sector.

    Open College Network West Midlands have over 30 years’ experience in delivering flexible education, training and learning opportunities across a broad spectrum of organisations and sector areas. Therefore we know which policies, procedures and practices are expected from an organisation that cares about delivering an outstanding service to its customers.

    How does it work?

    QEL+ is available to organisations that want:

    • External recognition for their particular audit / accreditation scheme
    • To transfer an existing external endorsement scheme from another provider

    Open College Network West Midlands will review your organisation against the requirements of the Standards within the QEL+, which comprises the following elements:

    Standard 1 – Leadership and Management
    Standard 2 – Quality of Resources
    Standard 3 – Quality Assurance
    Standard 4 – Organisation Support
    Standard 5 – Legislation
    Standard 6 – Quality Assessment/Audit

     

    QEL+ providers will need to:

    • Operate with specific quality guidelines
    • Maintain high standards of delivery
    • Continue to improve and monitor their offer and delivery
    • Work in partnership with Open College Network West Midlands

     

    Through this scheme, we support organisations by recognising good practice of organisational and industry audit/accreditation services being provided. Our QEL+ provides an excellent standard to ensure you have robust policies and quality systems in place to give your customers added confidence in the quality of service you provide.

     


    What does it cost?

    Open College Network West Midlands provides a simple and transparent pricing model that provides flexibility for all types and sizes of organisations, irrespective of the number of courses offered or the number of learners training is delivered to. With our straightforward approach to pricing, organisations have flexibility to respond to local, national and customer needs.

    The QEL+ consists of an Annual Licence Fee and a charge for each certificate required. Contact a member of our Business Development Team to discuss your requirements and we will provide you with a quotation.

The QEL is aimed at organisations wanting to develop bespoke training course programmes for their learners or employees that fall outside of the regulated qualifications market. Our QEL allows for a highly flexible approach that provides freedom for you to develop courses and training programmes that completely meet the needs of your customers or employees.

    The Open College Network West Midlands Quality Endorsement Licence (QEL) provides a highly valued ‘quality mark’ and external endorsement of an organisations own internal training and development programmes. The QEL has been designed to meet the needs of Employers and Providers offering internal and bespoke training courses that fall outside of the regulated qualification market. It provides a highly flexible approach allowing freedom for you to develop courses that meet the needs of your customers or employees.

    How does it work?

    QEL is available to organisations that want:

    • Recognition for their high quality internal training programmes
    • To transfer their current non-regulated provision from another Awarding Organisation’s Scheme


    Open College Network West Midlands will review your organisation against the requirements of the Standards within the QEL, which comprises the following elements:

    Standard 1 – Leadership and Management
    Standard 2 – Quality of Resources
    Standard 3 – Quality Assurance
    Standard 4 – Learner Support
    Standard 5 – Legislation
    Standard 6 – Quality of Courses and Assessment

    QEL providers

    • Operate with integrity
    • Maintain high standards of delivery
    • Continually monitor and improve their practice
    • Work in partnership with Open College Network West Midlands

    Through this scheme, we support organisations by recognising good practice of the existing internal training and skills programmes being provided. For example, a bespoke Induction Programme, specific short courses or longer ongoing training programmes that do not lead to nationally recognised accreditation or qualifications. Whether you are setting up new training programmes or have well established programmes our QEL provides an excellent standard to ensure you have robust policies and quality systems in place.

    What does it cost?

    Open College Network West Midlands has a simple and transparent pricing model that provides flexibility for all types and sizes of organisations, irrespective of the number of courses offered or the number of learners training is delivered to. With our straightforward approach to pricing organisations have flexibility to respond to local, national and customer needs.

    Our QEL is available for both national and international provision to organisations based in the UK or internationally.

    UK QEL Prices

    • QEL Approval Fee - £250 (This is a one-off non refundable fee. This amount will be deducted from the first year Licence Fee)
    • Annual Licence Fee - £1,500
    • QEL Registration/Certification - £2 per learner


    Package deals for QEL Licence Fee for existing Open College Network Recognised Centres

    • Annual Licence Fee - £1,000 for Centres paying £660 annual Centre Recognition fees
    • Annual Licence Fee - £1,200 for Centres paying £330 annual Centre Recognition fees


    International QEL Prices

    • QEL Approval Fee - £500 (This is a one-off non refundable fee. This amount will be deducted from the first year Licence Fee)
    • Annual Licence Fee - £2,000
    • QEL Registration/Certification - £15 per learner
