Launch of New Supporting Teaching and Learning Qualifications

We are excited to announce the launch of the following new qualifications!

All are now available for registrations.
 
Autism Support
  • Open College Network West Midlands Level 3 Certificate in Autism Support - 603/2904/X
 
This new qualification has been developed to provide knowledge and understanding of autism and provides the learner with knowledge and skills to be able to support individuals with autism in areas such as communication and social interactions, transitions and therapeutic interventions.
 
 
Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
  • Open College Network West Midlands Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools - 603/2779/0
  • Open College Network West Midlands Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools -603/2710/8
  • Open College Network West Midlands Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools - 603/2752/2
  • Open College Network West Midlands Level 4 Certificate for Higher Level Teaching Assistants - 603/2895/2
Our Level 3 Award and Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools is aimed at support workers and teaching assistants in schools who directly support teachers in the teaching and learning of pupils.

The Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools is aimed at specialist support workers, teaching assistants and SENCOs supporting children and young people in schools.
 
In addition, the Level 4 Certificate for Higher Level Teaching Assistants is beneficial for learners currently working as a teaching assistant who wish to progress to Higher Level Teaching Assistant status. Find out more about Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools qualifications here.
 
 
Special Educational Needs
  • Open College Network West Midlands Level 3 Certificate in the Principles of Special Educational Needs - 603/2790/X
 
These new qualifications will help learners to gain confidence and overcome barriers to the workplace and to further learning. They have also been designed to offer a selection of units for personal and career development for learners looking to obtain their first employment or looking to move to another position.
