Employability and Development Skills

Our qualifications in Employability and Development Skills offer opportunities to a range of learners to gain knowledge and skills in a variety of subject areas.

  • The qualifications provide a flexible approach to study, enabling learners the opportunity to sample different vocational areas.
  • These qualifications are stepping-stones to further study and enable the development of generic transferable skills, while the units offered will help learners to gain confidence and overcome barriers to work and further learning.
  • These qualifications contain specific endorsed pathways at Award, Certificate and Diploma size, providing routes for further learning. For example: Health and Social Care, Personal Development, and Computers & Software to name a few.

Work Ready Skills qualifications

Our Level 1 Award and Level 1 Certificate in Work Ready Skills can help to give your learners a competitive edge and stand out from the crowd when looking for employment through a wide selection of units that have been designed to complement our range of Employability and Development Skills qualifications.

  • These units will help learners to develop attributes, behaviours and values wanted by today’s employers; whilst enabling them to contribute effectively within the work environment.

To achieve the Award, learners must achieve a minimum of just 6 credits and to achieve the Certificate, 15 credits are required.
