Happy New Year - we're open for business

Wednesday, 6 January 2021

Welcome Back!

A warm welcome back and Happy New Year to all!

We are back following a brief break for the festive period. During this time, the world changed and so has our support for you.

2020 posed enormous challenges on us all in various ways. We recognise that, as a valued, recognised Centre, we need to do even more to ensure you and your learners receive the best possible service.

We have adapted with the changing educational landscape and want you to know we are here for you. From increased interaction with your Business Development Manager, to online events offering you the opportunity to network and speak directly to other departments, and the assurance of certificates either being issued electronically or posted in our normal timely manner; we are committed to giving you all you need to successfully continue offering our provision.

As we move into another national lockdown during the winter period, we understand the enormous challenges providers are facing and we will do everything we can to help and support our Centres through these difficult times. If there is anything you need, please do not hesitate to call or email us and speak to a member of the team who are always on hand to help.

We wish you, your colleagues and learners a happy and healthy 2021. Stay safe.

Guidance on applying Adaptations: response to latest Government Lockdown

Following the Prime Minister’s announcement of a national lockdown across England on Monday 4 January, we wish to remind all Centres about the support available for you and your learners in applying adaptations to our qualifications as schools and colleges move to remote learning.

At present we are advising all Centres to continue as they are doing wherever possible. If in light of the latest announcement that is no longer possible then in the first instance we advise you to review this spreadsheet which identifies possible adaptations for a number of our qualifications.

If you have any feedback relating to the adaptations available, or if your learners are likely to require additional support then please use this form to let us know.

Further guidance surrounding the application of adaptations is available here, however, if there is anything further you need then please do not hesitate to contact our Quality Team on the contact details provided below.

We continue to work closely with our regulators to ensure the best possible outcomes for learners and will update you should the situation change.
