COVID-19 Access to HE Provider and Student Update
 
As you may be aware from communication made available on QAA’s web pages and from Open College Network West Midlands,  it has been announced that Access to HE Students who planned to complete their Access to HE Diploma by 31st July 2020 will be awarded an Access to HE Diploma.  This will be on calculated grading for any remaining assessments (which have not been submitted and graded by 20th March).  
 
Further guidance has now been published for Providers and Students regarding the calculated grade approach adopted for Access to HE Learners who planned to complete their Access to HE Diploma by 31st July 2020.  This can be found here; COVID-19 Support and Information
 
All Providers have been sent copies of the guidance produced for Providers. 
 
Release of Access to HE Results Summer 2020:
  • Resuts of Access to HE courses were released nationally on 13th July 2020.  If you have not yet received your results please contact your Centre
 
We will continue to work with the other Access Validating Agencies (AVAs) and QAA with regards to guidance on quality assurance processes, and will continue to update you as soon as this guidance becomes available.

Access to HE COVID-19 Update for Learners – Release of Results.

The AVA will release results to our Centres on Monday 13th July 2020.  The Centres will then release the results to you. Please contact your Centre for details on how you will recieve your results.
