Born to Thrive - Mental Health Awareness Week: May 2017

Top Tips For Looking After Your Mental Health

1. Talk To Someone
Talk to someone you can trust. Opening up about how you feel can also encourage others to do the same.
2. Keep Active

Be Active in way that is fun and that you enjoy.
Exercise can give you that 'feel good factor' and keeps your vital organs healthy.
Little and often can make a big difference.
3. Eat Well

Nutrients are essential to the brain and for the optimum functioning of the body. Ensure that you get all the vitamins and minerals you need from a variety of food and eat for vitality.
4. Do What You Love
Doing what you love focuses your mind in a positive direction and engaging in an activity that you enjoy can also increase your sense of fulfilment. So whether it's a hobby, baking or exploring your local park, make time for doing something you love.
5. Celebrate Who You Are
