Fees and Charges
Information on all Open College Network West Midlands fees and charges can be found in our Fees and Charges brochures on the Downloads section of this page.
Please Note: Our fees year runs from 1 August to 31 July.
Our fees explained
Our pricing policy is designed to be as straightforward and transparent as possible while offering exceptional value for money with great customer service.
As a registered charity, we are always looking to offer our products and services at the lowest viable price to enable as many organisations and learners as possible to benefit from them.
Prices for 2021-22
All of our prices are clearly set out on this website. We have developed two separate fees and charges brochures that are available from the downloads section on this page, which clearly explain and set out the charges we make.
- Our Access to HE Fees Brochure relates solely to our Access to HE provision; and
- Our Fees and Charges Brochure (Non-Access) relates to everything else we provide
Individual qualification prices for all our qualifications are also listed on the relevant qualification page.
Please note that all fees listed on this website and in our fees brochures relate to the fees that we charge to our Centres; they do not represent any fees that are charged to learners by training provider organisations delivering our qualifications or other accredited provision.
2022-23 Access to Higher Education Diploma learner registration fees:
Please note that from 1st August 2022, the Learner Registration Fee for all of our Access to Higher Education Diplomas (A2HE) will increase to £122.
As a leading, and one of the largest Access Validating Agencies in the UK, our A2HE learner registration fee remains significantly below the national average offering exceptional value for money to our Centres.
2022-23 Ofqual qualifications and customised provision learner registration fees:
Please note that from 1st August 2022, a small price increase will be applied to our learner registration fees for our Ofqual qualifications and customised accreditation provision.
As a not-for-profit charitable organisation, we pride ourselves on being able to offer outstanding value for our products and services. Our Ofqual qualification learner registration fees and customised provision have remained static for almost ten years and this pending price increase is being introduced to ensure we can continue to offer exceptional support and value in the face of rising costs.
We look forward to continuing to support and work in partnership with all our Centres during 2022-23.
We provide on-going support to our centres for all their qualification development or customised provision requirements with a highly responsive and flexible service.
Please note that we may make a charge for this service depending on the nature and extent of the development. This will be reviewed on a case by case basis and our standard charge will be £260 per day.
Please discuss any qualification development requirements with your Business Development Manager who will guide you through this process.
Please note that we operate a separate fee structure for Centres that are based internationally and/or who are based in the UK but deliver internationally.
Please contact us directly for further information about our international fees.
