Open College Network West Midlands is a National Awarding Organisation based in Wolverhampton. We work in partnership with employers, training providers, colleges, universities, schools and voluntary or community organisations to offer vocational credit-based qualifications.
Open College Network will be celebrating their 35th anniversary in 2017 but have since re-branded into separate entities in various areas across the UK. Open College Network West Midlands have a turnover of £1.2m and have 25 employees.
Marketing & Communications Officer (Part Time, 18 hours per week)
Reporting directly to the Director of Business Development, the company is looking to recruit a dynamic and creative professional marketer to lead, oversee and evaluate the organisations marketing campaign and communication activities. The post holder will be expected to initiate, plan and deliver innovative marketing and lead generation activity that is focused on increasing the rate of new customer enquiries to the business and increasing the volume of business with existing customers.
The post holder should have an excellent working knowledge of the modern day marketing mix and marketing tactics, including digital marketing, managing social media platforms together with E-marketing software and associated analytics. The post holder should be familiar with creating good website/digital content and have a flair for communicating product/service offer. The role sits within the Business Development Team and supports the overall lead generation strategy within our marketplace.
